Analytics

If you accept cookies, we load Google Analytics 4 (property G-BEDDHR5FR3) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 collects:

  • Device type, browser, and general location (country/city level)

If you decline cookies, no analytics scripts are loaded and no tracking cookies are set beyond the consent preference cookie.

Email newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter (Ground Truth), we collect and store:

  • Email address — to send you newsletters
  • Subscription preferences — frequency, format, and topic choices
  • Consent records — timestamp, IP address, and the consent text shown at the time of subscription (for GDPR compliance)
  • Engagement data — email opens and link clicks, used to improve content relevance

We use a double opt-in process: after subscribing, you must confirm your email address before receiving any newsletters. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscription is processed immediately.

Newsletter emails are sent via Resend. See Resend's Privacy Policy. Subscriber data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (a database within our Cloudflare account). See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

You can manage your preferences, pause your subscription, or unsubscribe at any time via the preference center linked in every email. To request deletion of all your data, contact us via LinkedIn or by booking a call.

Data retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Newsletter subscriber data is retained while your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your data is retained for up to 90 days for re-subscription convenience, after which it may be deleted. Consent records are retained indefinitely for legal compliance.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete any personal data we hold. Since we don't collect personal data directly, this primarily applies to data held by Google Analytics. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
